2. Friends to more

Snow never got the best grades, his teachers always told him it was because he didn’t truly apply himself when it came to his studies. He couldn’t say they were wrong, he always had other things on his mind when he knew that school work should have been the most important thing on his mind.

Hopefully the fact that he was paired up with a friend for a project in one of his classes might teach him to be a bit more focused. He waited for her in the classroom after school, his elbow propped up on the desk and his head resting in the palm of his hand. He was peering out of the window in pure boredom as he watched other students go home for the day. He was so tempted to join them.

14. Sudden Hottie

Just a year ago, Snow had been sent to live with his mother while his Father went to work overseas. He’d grown up in this town, so that meant he had to leave behind a lot of friends. But now his Mother was the one moving, and it was back to this town. Snow was entering his second year of High School after having spent an entire year away.

How much could one guy change in a year? A lot, apparently. Snow was a veritable giant now. He got hit by a major growth spurt and stood now at near seven feet tall. He’d gotten more into sports while he was away, so he packed on quite a bit of muscle. He looked like a very different guy than he did a year ago.

This might have been his first day back, but it was already a month into the school year. And really he’d only been back in the city for a few days now, so he didn’t have much time to reach out to old friends or just people that knew him in middle school. He was hoping to do that at school today. But so far, he hadn’t spotted anyone yet. And now it was lunch time, having forgotten his lunch, all he had to eat was an apple. So there he sat at one of the benches outside with one in hand. He had to wonder if anyone he even knew still lived in this town with how hard it was to spot them.

30. Sneaking out
For as much as Snow might at like a good guy, he could have a bad boy streak to him. Case and point, tonight he was sneaking out past curfew. Even if it was the weekend, most of them had to still be inside at a certain time. But a bunch of people from their school were sneaking out. They were going to meet at a spot in a nearby forest to have a little party. There was a lake, some caves nearby, and other little things that they planned to get involved in.

Snow knew the exact way to the spot, though he hadn’t started to make his way there yet. No, he had to stop and pick up his friend. So once he got to her place, he ducked behind a tree to make sure her parents and siblings were looking out the window into their yard. He took his phone out of his pocket and sent her a text message.

Hey. You still going to this thing tonight?

If she didn’t respond, he would just have to start hurling tiny pebbles at her window. A bit clichéd, but it could still work.
